Our stylists are what make B+B tick. You've probably seen them around a few times but never actually spoken to them. Here we break the ice and ask them a few questions to find out more.

How long have you been hairdressing?
I actually got introduced to hairdressing 9 nearly 10 years ago when I was doing my GCSE’s and went to college one day a week to train. After that I went to Kingston college to finish off my training and then moved to John Frieda where You go through a bit more training before doing clients and then I carried on working there for 4 years.
When did you start working with barber and Blow?
I’ve been working for Barber + Blow since we first opened at 1rebel. I did leave for a year to travel but now I’m happy to be back!
What is your favourite part of the job?
I love my clients! I have such amazing clients here! I love hearing their stories and meeting new people! I also love that I can be more creative here than in other salons.
Where do you find hair inspiration?
A lot of my inspiration comes from Instagram now. I often make my sister or one of my good friends sit down for hours so I can play around with some new looks.
Which 3 instagrams would you suggest to follow for hair?
Which 3 instagrams would you suggest to follow for fun?
Apart from the obvious, @barber_blow (!). I love anything to do with animals and travelling so I’d suggest @aroundtheworldpix they have piccies from the most beautiful places! I’ve made a list of all the places I want to go to from there. I also like to follow and support @elephantnaturepark they are a charity in Asia that rescue elephants from the cruelty in the riding camps, the circus and street begging. It’s so nice to see the pictures of the elephants happy again. And the 3rd one i would suggest is @nastygal I love there clothing and vibe and they always have cool stuff going on on their Instagram!
Who are your all time style icons?
I have always loved Twiggy and Audrey Hepburn! Who doesn’t! They are incredible! In terms of style icons now I really like Rita Ora, Dua Lipa and actually Perrie from little mix has great style too! All of them are a little bit different with there looks which to me is way better than following the crowd.
Which 3 hairstyles should never have happened?
Definitely the comb over! When I was in my last few years of school it was really fashionable to part your hair as far to the side as possible. At the time we thought we looked so cool but I look back at photos and it was awful! I also hated the style where one half of your hair was shaved. Also the super short disconnect layers with the long length. That was awful!
What are you 3 favourite Rachel from friends hairstyles?
My absolute favourite Rachel Green hairstyle was in season 8 where it was slightly longer than a bob and slightly framed around her face. It looked amazing sleek as well as really stylish with the waves. I also loved in the last season she had the sweeping side fringe and of course the most popular Rachel green style super smooth and sleek with soft feathering around the face. That most people reference when asking for a cut or Blowdry.
What are your trends for this summer?
Think slightly 90s vibes. Cut of straight leg jeans, bright colours, loud prints. I think one length bleached bobs could get really popular this summer too!
What’s your favourite 1rebel class?
I love Ride!
Who’s your favourite 1rebel instructor?
You can’t make me pick there’s so many!! I love Jono and Zoes classes though if I had to pick!
